about lindsey
I'm Lindsey, and I'm honored to walk alongside individuals and families on their journey through life's most profound transitions. My path as a death doula was deeply influenced by childhood experiences, including the loss of my best friend to cancer at a tender age. This early encounter with mortality sparked a lifelong curiosity about death and dying, leading me to pen a book titled "A Nine-year-old's Views on Death and Dying."
With over 15 years of experience in mental health as a licensed psychologist, specializing in complex trauma and existential therapies, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my work. My journey into death work was further enriched by sitting vigil at my grandmother's passing, witnessing firsthand the sacredness of the dying process.
Guided by principles of respect, trust, integrity, care, and love, I approach each individual with reverence, creating a safe and compassionate space for exploration and healing. My approach is person-centered, focusing on education, resource connection, and deep human connection. As a licensed psilocybin facilitator in Oregon, I offer plant medicine sessions to alleviate death anxiety and provide comfort. Additionally, my training in somatic therapies and certification in Sound Healing allow me to support individuals in processing difficult emotions and creating a sense of peace and connection.
It is my life's mission and greatest honor to be of service during life's most profound transitions. I invite you to explore the sacred journey of life and death with me.
